Designed and delivered by The Cinema Company in partnership with Monitor Audio, the Experience Centre provides an immersive environment for homeowners, integrators, designers and industry professionals to explore high-performance home cinema, two-channel audio and seamlessly integrated smart-home technology.
The Monitor Audio Experience Centre has been created to help visitors experience technology in realistic, beautifully designed surroundings.
Rather than displaying individual products in isolation, each space demonstrates how audio, video, lighting, control and interior design can work together as one complete experience.
Whether you are planning a dedicated cinema, refining a music system or looking to integrate technology throughout your home, the Experience Centre offers the opportunity to see, hear and understand the possibilities before making important design decisions.
The Cinema Room
Experience Cinema at Reference Level
The Cinema Room has been meticulously designed to demonstrate the full potential of a professionally engineered private cinema.
Monitor Audio Cinergy Series loudspeakers are positioned across the front, surround and rear channels to create an immersive and precisely controlled soundstage.
Sixteen 15-inch subwoofers are arranged across the front and rear of the room, supported by WaveForming optimisation developed with Trinnov. The system can be demonstrated using different subwoofer configurations, allowing visitors to experience how system scale, room design and calibration affect overall performance.
A Sony professional cinema projector and large-format Cinema Build Systems projection screen deliver a detailed and cinematic visual experience. Acoustically transparent fabrics conceal the technology while allowing sound to travel naturally into the room.
Hand-crafted Infinity Seating completes the space, providing a comfortable and relaxed environment in which to experience cinema as it was intended.
The room has been engineered in accordance with CEDIA RP22 Recommended Practice guidelines, with final calibration completed in collaboration with Trinnov’s engineering team.

The Music Suite
High-End Listening in a Realistic Living Space
The Music Suite offers a very different experience from the dedicated Cinema Room.
Inspired by the engineered elegance of a Porsche interior, the room combines dark greens, deep blacks, rich walnut finishes and soft materials to create a refined but welcoming environment.
The intention was to avoid the appearance of a heavily treated recording studio. Instead, acoustic engineering has been discreetly incorporated into a space that feels closer to a premium residential interior.
Recessed ceiling diffusers, soft furnishings, suede finishes and a sculptural three-dimensional rear wall help manage reflections and improve sound quality without dominating the design.
Monitor Audio’s flagship Hyphn loudspeakers are paired with high-end amplification and premium cabling, giving visitors the opportunity to experience critical two-channel listening in surroundings that reflect how music might be enjoyed at home.

Engineered From the Ground Up
Creating a high-performance listening environment within an active warehouse presented significant acoustic challenges.
The Cinema Room and Music Suite were therefore constructed as isolated rooms within the existing building.
Walls approaching 600mm in depth, multiple layers of specialist materials and carefully selected construction techniques help prevent external warehouse noise from entering the demonstration spaces.
This room-within-a-room approach also limits sound transfer into surrounding areas while creating the controlled acoustic conditions required for reliable demonstrations.
The result is an environment in which visitors can properly assess the performance of the system without distraction or compromise.
Designed, Built and Installed by The Cinema Company
Monitor Audio wanted an experience centre that would showcase its products exactly as they were designed to be heard and enjoyed. Every room needed to deliver exceptional sound, flawless technology and a premium customer experience.
We designed, manufactured and delivered the entire experience centre, including bespoke joinery, acoustic treatments, technology installation, calibration and project management. By managing every stage in-house, we ensured every space performed as beautifully as it looked.
Working closely with the architect, builder, electrician and HVAC specialists from concept to completion, we created an experience centre that not only demonstrates Monitor Audio’s products but also inspires every visitor who walks through the door.
