The Cinema Company, previously known as Strictly AV LTD, was established in 2007.

Founder James Brown, with extensive experience in the UK’s audio-visual sector, envisioned a company that transcends traditional product installations. He aimed to create a business providing integrated, bespoke design and installation services. The focus was on offering clients a complete turn-key solution for home cinema and smart homes, emphasising service and aftercare.

Over the past 15 years, James has curated a team of knowledgeable engineers, each specialising in distinct areas such as Home Cinema Installation, Smart Home technology integration, CCTV and security, Lighting Design and control, and bespoke carpentry and joinery. This diverse expertise uniquely positions The Cinema Company to handle almost every aspect of projects of varying scales.

As a longstanding member of CEDIA (The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association), The Cinema Company ensures that all installations adhere to the highest standards set by the industry’s governing body.
